Family owned and operated

Serving local families like yours in Bay County

With many activities personally handled or overseen by our family, you can rely on us to tackle all of your pool needs. Our guarantee is to only provide honest information, fair pricing and truly expert service for any pool issue you might encounter.

That photograph is the whole company. We run the route ourselves, in the matching shirts, out of the truck with the logo on the door, and when you call, you get one of us. Customers keep writing the same things about us: we text before we arrive, we email the chemistry after we leave, and we do what we said we would do.

Family owned and operated, we are your local, trusted and responsible pool care team. You are in great hands with Goodies Pool Care.

Trusted, honest and meticulous

Every visit is tested and balanced properly rather than a tab dropped in and a wave. You get the actual readings by email, not a claim that it was fine.

Equipment trouble?

A screaming pump or a salt cell that has stopped making chlorine: call Goodies first. We will find out what is wrong, tell you plainly what it needs, and get you to the right fix. Repairs are performed by our licensed partner, Florida Discount Pool Supply LLC (CPC1461310), not by Goodies.

Straight answers on equipment

When a pump or filter is getting old, we tell you plainly whether it is worth keeping, and we never talk you into a new one you do not need. Pentair, Jandy and Hayward cover most pads in Bay County, and we see them every week.

100% satisfaction guarantee

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with a pool clean we perform, simply call us and we’ll come back out at no charge to reclean your pool.

Sincerely, the Goodies Pool Care family Some exclusions apply.
Our pool services

Don’t you deserve more relaxation?

Sit back and chill when Goodies Pool Care handles all of your pool cleaning and maintenance chores.

Weekly Pool Service

Thorough brushing, vacuuming, skimming, water chemistry testing and equipment inspections every week, to catch issues early, long before they become costly repairs.

  • Brushing, netting and vacuuming
  • Tile and waterline scrubbed
  • Leaf traps and baskets emptied
  • Water chemistry tested and balanced
  • Filter and equipment checked

Green to Clean Service

Green, filled with algae, looking dingy or just in need of a deep cleaning? The local green pool experts for Bay County restore it to perfect blue quickly and affordably, from $399.

  • Algae removal and shock treatment
  • Deep cleaning, walls to floor
  • Advanced chemical balancing
  • Algae prevention
  • Filter cleaning included

Pool Filter Cleaning

Cartridge, sand and DE deep cleanings, $99 one time. Your filter is the heart of your pool system, and a dirty filter means using more chemicals and swimming in unclean water.

  • Cartridge, sand and DE deep cleanings
  • Backwashing and filter maintenance
  • Equipment inspection included
  • Chemical testing
  • $99 one time

Saltwater Pool Service

Weekly service built for salt pools. The salt level tested, the salt cell cleaned and checked, and the pH and alkalinity held where a salt system can actually make chlorine.

  • Salt level tested with its own meter
  • Salt cell cleaned and checked
  • pH and alkalinity held in range
  • Stabilizer set for a salt pool
  • Part of every weekly visit

Hot Tub and Spa Cleaning

Standalone hot tubs and spas attached to the pool, cleaned, filtered and balanced. Hot water uses up sanitizer fast, so a spa needs its own attention, not what is left over from the pool.

  • Standalone hot tubs
  • Spas attached to the pool
  • Filter cleaned
  • Water tested and balanced
  • Shell and waterline wiped down

Water Chemistry and Testing

Testing and adjusting pH, sanitizer levels and alkalinity, and adding the chemicals that keep the water clear and balanced. The readings and what went in get emailed after every visit.

  • pH, sanitizer and alkalinity tested
  • Water treatment dosed for your gallons
  • Stabilizer and calcium tracked
  • Readings emailed after every visit
  • Clear, balanced water

Pool Equipment Maintenance

Routine maintenance on the pad every week. Baskets cleared, lids and o-rings kept clean, and the pump, filter and salt cell checked, so a failing part is caught while it is still cheap.

  • Maintained on every weekly visit
  • Pumps, filters and salt cells
  • Baskets, lids and o-rings kept clean
  • Faults found early
  • Pentair, Jandy and Hayward

Out of Town Pool Care

Away for the season, on orders or on a long trip? We keep the pool on its weekly schedule, check in on it and send you photos, so you come home to clear water instead of a green pool.

  • Weekly service while you are away
  • Check-ins on the pool and the pad
  • Photos sent to you
  • Anything off flagged straight away
  • Clear water when you get home

Pool turned green overnight?

How it works

Get service today

Three steps, and then you stop thinking about it.

1. Call, text or message us

Tell us about the pool: size, finish, salt or chlorine and how much shade it sits under. Two minutes and we have what we need.

2. We quote it and set your day

A real price for your actual pool, not a range. Take it and you get a service day before the call ends, and your first month is $99.

3. Same day, every week

A text before we arrive. Brushed, netted, vacuumed and balanced. Your readings emailed after, and anything wrong at the equipment pad flagged the day we see it.

Service areas

Pool cleaning service throughout Bay County

Ten areas on one weekly route. Each has its own conditions, and we service them differently because of it.

Panama City

Brick and block ranch homes under live oaks, downtown, and the old streets of St Andrews. Panama City is our home route.

Panama City Beach

Condo decks, beach houses and rentals that hand over a new family every Saturday. Salt air works on every pad out here.

Lynn Haven

Wide lots, big families and heavy oak and pine over most of the back yards. Lynn Haven is a screened enclosure town.

Callaway

Single story ranch homes, carports and pine over the back fence. Straight pricing and no upsell, which is what people here ask for.

Parker

A small East Bay town where the back fence is usually a dock. Compact lots, tight pads, and wind off the water most of the year.

Springfield

A compact grid of short streets next to Tyndall. Smaller pools, plenty of rentals, and families who move when the orders say so.

Southport

Acre lots under pine and oak, long driveways, and pools that collect everything the trees drop. We build the route so nobody out here gets skipped.

Youngstown

Big cleared lots, metal workshops and pine woods at the property line. It is the far end of the route, so we set a day and we keep it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

The things people ask before they call.

How much is weekly pool service in Panama City?

Our Premium Care Package starts at $185 a month for medium to large pools, and right now the first month is $99. What moves the number is gallons, how much pine and oak sits over the water, and whether the pool is chlorine or salt. We quote the actual pool in front of us rather than reading off a flat rate, and the price we give you is the price on the invoice.

Do you come the same day every week?

Yes, and you get a text before we pull up. You are told your service day when you sign up and it does not move unless a holiday falls on it. Route consistency is most of what makes pool chemistry stable, so we treat it as part of the job rather than a convenience.

What is the difference between pool cleaning and pool maintenance?

Most people use the two words for the same visit, and our weekly service is both. The cleaning is the part you can see: walls brushed, the surface netted, the pool vacuumed and the baskets emptied. The maintenance is the part that keeps it that way: the water tested and balanced at your pool, and the filter, pump and salt cell checked so a small problem gets caught before it turns into a green pool or a repair bill.

How often should a pool be serviced in Panama City in the summer?

Weekly, at the very least. From June through September the heat, the strong sun and the afternoon storms use up chlorine far faster than in the cooler months, and a pool left longer than a week can slip from clear to cloudy between visits. That is why every Goodies pool is on the same day each week, with the readings emailed to you after every visit so you can see the numbers hold.

My pool is green. Can you fix it?

Yes. We are the local green pool experts for Bay County. Green to Clean starts at $399, we quote it before we start, and most pools go back to swimmable in a few days without draining. Draining is a last resort, because the sandy soil and high water table around here make it a genuine risk to the shell.

Why does my pool turn green so fast here?

Algae needs warmth, sunlight and a gap in the chlorine, and a Bay County summer supplies all three. Heat and sun burn chlorine off fast, a heavy afternoon storm dilutes what is left and washes in the pollen, leaves and dirt that algae feeds on, and a filter that is dirty or not running long enough cannot keep up. A pool can look fine on a Friday and be green by Monday. Weekly testing and brushing is what stops it, and if it has already happened, that is what Green to Clean is for.

Which areas of Bay County do you cover?

We run a weekly route across Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Parker, Springfield, Southport, Youngstown, Laguna Beach and Grand Lagoon. That is ZIP codes 32401, 32404, 32407, 32408, 32409, 32413, 32444 and 32466. If you are just outside one of those, call and ask.

Are you certified and insured?

Yes. We are CPO certified, which stands for Certified Pool & Spa Operator, the pool industry’s standard training in water chemistry and pool safety. We also carry general liability insurance, and we will send a current certificate of insurance on request.

What is the guarantee?

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with a pool clean we perform, simply call us and we will come back out at no charge to reclean your pool. That is the wording on the printed guarantee we hand out. Some exclusions apply.
