Complete pool services in Panama City
From the weekly route to the equipment pad, one family looking after pools across Bay County.
Professional pool services
Choose from our full range of pool services, designed to keep your pool clear, safe and running all year.
Weekly Pool Service
Thorough brushing, vacuuming, skimming, water chemistry testing and equipment inspections every week, to catch issues early, long before they become costly repairs.
- Brushing, netting and vacuuming
- Tile and waterline scrubbed
- Leaf traps and baskets emptied
- Water chemistry tested and balanced
- Filter and equipment checked
Green to Clean Service
Green, filled with algae, looking dingy or just in need of a deep cleaning? The local green pool experts for Bay County restore it to perfect blue quickly and affordably, from $399.
- Algae removal and shock treatment
- Deep cleaning, walls to floor
- Advanced chemical balancing
- Algae prevention
- Filter cleaning included
Pool Filter Cleaning
Cartridge, sand and DE deep cleanings, $99 one time. Your filter is the heart of your pool system, and a dirty filter means using more chemicals and swimming in unclean water.
- Cartridge, sand and DE deep cleanings
- Backwashing and filter maintenance
- Equipment inspection included
- Chemical testing
- $99 one time
Saltwater Pool Service
Weekly service built for salt pools. The salt level tested, the salt cell cleaned and checked, and the pH and alkalinity held where a salt system can actually make chlorine.
- Salt level tested with its own meter
- Salt cell cleaned and checked
- pH and alkalinity held in range
- Stabilizer set for a salt pool
- Part of every weekly visit
Hot Tub and Spa Cleaning
Standalone hot tubs and spas attached to the pool, cleaned, filtered and balanced. Hot water uses up sanitizer fast, so a spa needs its own attention, not what is left over from the pool.
- Standalone hot tubs
- Spas attached to the pool
- Filter cleaned
- Water tested and balanced
- Shell and waterline wiped down
Water Chemistry and Testing
Testing and adjusting pH, sanitizer levels and alkalinity, and adding the chemicals that keep the water clear and balanced. The readings and what went in get emailed after every visit.
- pH, sanitizer and alkalinity tested
- Water treatment dosed for your gallons
- Stabilizer and calcium tracked
- Readings emailed after every visit
- Clear, balanced water
Pool Equipment Maintenance
Routine maintenance on the pad every week. Baskets cleared, lids and o-rings kept clean, and the pump, filter and salt cell checked, so a failing part is caught while it is still cheap.
- Maintained on every weekly visit
- Pumps, filters and salt cells
- Baskets, lids and o-rings kept clean
- Faults found early
- Pentair, Jandy and Hayward
Out of Town Pool Care
Away for the season, on orders or on a long trip? We keep the pool on its weekly schedule, check in on it and send you photos, so you come home to clear water instead of a green pool.
- Weekly service while you are away
- Check-ins on the pool and the pad
- Photos sent to you
- Anything off flagged straight away
- Clear water when you get home
Pool turned green overnight?
Green or cloudy water before a weekend or a party? Call and we will tell you over the phone whether it needs a visit today.
Why pool owners choose Goodies
Four things you can hold us to, on every visit.
Same day every week
Your service day is fixed and it stays that way. Route consistency is what keeps chemistry stable.
Your readings, emailed
After the visit you get the chemistry and exactly what was added to balance the water.
Family owned and operated
A local family runs the route, so it is one of us at your pool and one of us on the phone.
We answer the phone
A person during business hours, and a text back within about a minute if you miss us.
The route is the business, so we treat it that way
The weekly route is what keeps your pool clear instead of getting rescued four times a year.
- Walls, steps and waterline brushed
- Surface skimmed, baskets emptied
- Vacuumed as needed
- Chemistry tested and balanced
- Equipment pad checked every visit

Frequently asked questions
Common questions from Bay County pool owners.
Do I have to sign a contract for weekly service?
No. Weekly service runs month to month and you can stop any time with a week of notice. We would rather keep you because the pool looks right than because a contract says you cannot leave.
Do you clean hot tubs too?
Yes. We clean standalone hot tubs and spas attached to the pool, either on your weekly visit or on their own. The spa gets its own cleaning, its own filter attention and its own water test.
Can you look at equipment you did not put in?
Yes. The pad gets checked on every weekly visit whoever installed it, and Pentair, Hayward and Jandy cover the large majority of what is on pads around Bay County. Goodies finds the fault and tells you what it is.
Do you do pool repairs?
No. Florida requires a licensed pool contractor for any pool repair and for repairing, installing or replacing pool equipment, and we are a cleaning and maintenance company. When we find a problem on a visit, we tell you what it is, and the repair is performed by our partner, Florida Discount Pool Supply LLC, a Certified Pool/Spa Contractor (CPC1461310).
What if I only need a one time job, not weekly service?
That is fine. Green to clean recovery, filter cleaning and hot tub cleaning are all available on their own, with no requirement to sign up for a route. Plenty of our route customers started with a single job.
Tell us what it needs
Not sure which service it is? Describe the symptom and we will tell you. No charge for the answer.
