Weekly Pool Service
Thorough brushing, vacuuming, skimming, water chemistry testing and equipment inspections every week, to catch issues early, long before they become costly repairs.
Consistent care is the whole job
Keeping a pool clean and running smoothly in the Florida climate takes consistent weekly maintenance. Here is the checklist, so you can hold us to it or measure anyone else against it.
Most pool problems in Bay County are not dramatic. They are small things left a week too long. A leaf trap packed with slash pine needles, a chlorine level that dropped through a hot weekend, a filter pressure creeping up that nobody read. Weekly service exists to catch those early, while they are still a two minute fix instead of a big bill.
Goodies Pool Care is one local family, and we run the route ourselves, which is why the person at your pool this week is the person who was there last week. Same pool, same day, same checklist. You get a text before we pull up and an email afterwards with the readings and exactly what we added. Trusted, honest and meticulous is the standard, and the goal is simple: enjoy every minute of your pool.
Brushing, netting and vacuuming
The physical work, done every visit rather than when the pool starts to look bad.
- Walls brushed, tile and waterline scrubbed
- Surface netted and debris cleared
- Vacuumed as the pool needs it
- Leaf traps, skimmer and pump baskets emptied
- Pine needles and oak leaves out before they stain
Water chemistry testing
Tested and adjusted at the pool, not topped up with a tab and left to drift until next week.
- pH and sanitizer levels tested
- Alkalinity adjusted so the pH holds
- Stabilizer and calcium hardness tracked
- Chemicals added to keep the water clear and balanced
- Readings taken at your pool, every visit
Filter and equipment inspections
A few minutes at the pad each week is what catches a small fault before it becomes a bill.
- Filter checked and cleaned as it needs it
- Pump checked for noise, leaks and prime
- Salt cell looked over
- Pool summerization as the season warms up
- Anything off gets flagged before it fails
The text and the email
You get the numbers and the list of what went in, not a vague thumbs up.
- A text before we arrive
- Your actual chemistry readings
- What was added and how much
- Notes on anything spotted at the pad
- Sent after the visit, not days later

Frequently asked questions
Common questions from Bay County pool owners.
Do I need to be home for the service?
No. Most route customers are at work when we come. We need reliable access to the pool and the equipment, so a gate code or a key gets sorted once and kept on file. You get a text before we arrive either way, so you always know we are on the way.
What happens if it storms on my service day?
We still come. A summer thunderstorm is a reason to check a pool rather than skip it, because it washes organics in and knocks the chlorine down. Lightning and genuinely unsafe conditions are the exception, and you hear from us when that happens.
What does weekly pool service cost?
The weekly Premium Care Package starts at $185 a month for a medium to large pool, and your first month is $99 so you can see the work before you commit to it. What moves the monthly number is the size of the pool and what is around it, because a screened pool in Lynn Haven and an open pool under oaks in Callaway are different amounts of work. Estimates are free anywhere in Bay County.
Can I go to every other week instead?
From April through October it is not a good idea on most pools here. Water in the high 80s burns chlorine fast, and two weeks is long enough to lose control of it. Through the mild part of winter it is a more reasonable conversation, and we will tell you honestly whether your pool can hold.
What if I am not happy with a visit?
Call. If for any reason you are unhappy with a pool clean we perform, we come back out at no charge to reclean your pool. Some exclusions apply. The phone is answered Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and closed Sunday.
Ready to sort out your weekly service?
Tell us about your pool and we will give you a straight price and a start date, usually the same day you call.
