A family, a truck, and a route across Bay County
Goodies Pool Care is one Bay County family. One route, one standard, and a phone that gets answered by one of us.
We fixed the thing everybody complains about first
Ask ten Panama City homeowners about their pool service and most of the complaints sound the same. Nobody came this week. Nobody told me why. I called and got a voicemail. The water went green and I found out by looking at it.
None of that is a chemistry problem. It is a showing up problem, and that is the part Goodies was built around before anything else.
So you get a text before we arrive, and an email after we leave with the chemistry readings and exactly what went in the water. It is the smallest thing in the world and it is the thing customers mention most, because it means you never have to wonder whether anybody actually came.
Show up, be reliable, communicate, be consistent
Those four are ours, and any of us will say them out loud if you ask what the plan is. There is nothing clever in them, which is the point. The family on the truck is the family that shows up at your house and the family you reach when you call. That is why the reviews read the way they do. When somebody writes that we do what we say we will do, there is no head office between that sentence and the person doing the work.
It also means the answer to a hard question is a straight one. When somebody has quoted you a new pump, you get an honest read on whether you need one. If your pool does not need what somebody else quoted, we say so.
Built to hand down
We are not building this to flip. We are building a route our kids can take over, so that the business our family started is worth something to them later. That changes how a week looks: nobody is chasing a number this month at the cost of your pool next month, and the customer who is hardest to get to still gets the same forty minutes as everybody else.
Everything here is verifiable
No claim on this page is one you have to take our word for.
Family owned, locally
Goodies Pool Care is owned and run by one Bay County family, not a franchise or a call center. The family on the truck is the family that answers the phone.

Four promises, and you can hold us to all of them
A text before we arrive
You know we are coming before the gate opens. No guessing, and no stranger in the yard you were not expecting.
The chemistry, in writing
An email after the visit with the readings and what was added to balance the water. Every time, not on request.
A straight answer on equipment
We tell you when your pump or filter has five years left and when it has one. Your call either way, but you get the real information first.
Come back and fix it, free
If a clean was not right, call. We come back out at no charge and reclean the pool. Some exclusions apply.
What customers say about the work
5.0 stars from 30+ Google reviews. These are quoted from the Google profile word for word.
About us and how we operate
Who actually comes to my house?
One of our family. Goodies is a family operation rather than a company with a rotating crew, which is why the reviews keep using people’s names. You get a text before we pull up so you always know who is in the yard and when.
What do I get after a visit?
A text before we arrive and an email afterward with the chemistry readings and what was added to balance the water. Customers tell us that last part is the thing nobody else was doing for them. You never have to take it on faith that the pool was tested.
What is the guarantee?
Word for word from the guarantee we hand out: if for any reason you are unhappy with a pool clean we perform, call us and we will come back out at no charge to reclean your pool. Some exclusions apply. It is printed, and it is not a marketing line.
Are you really family run?
Yes, and it is not a slogan. We work the route ourselves, as a family, and we answer our own phone. That is the business, and it is being built for the kids to take over.
Are you certified and insured?
Yes to both. We hold a CPO (Certified Pool & Spa Operator) certification, the industry’s standard course in water chemistry and pool safety, and we carry general liability insurance. If you or your HOA need a certificate of insurance, ask and we will send a current one.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Weekly service is month to month. We would rather keep you because the water looks right every week than because you are locked into something.
Want to talk to a person first?
That is usually the fastest way. Call and we will tell you what your pool needs before anyone quotes anything.
